Who we are

Keumbu Rehema Children’s Home (KRCH) is an orphanage located in Kisii, Kenya. It was founded by Bishop Robert Nyamwange and his wife Terevinah in 2006 as a Foster Unit with one child, Mary. Since then Keumbu Rehema Children’s Home has expanded its facilities and now houses 60 children.

Keumbu Rehema Children’s Home focuses on making the lives of these orphans and abandoned children better in all aspects. This is done by providing education opportunities, health and wellness support, foster home and shelter services, and facilitating adoption processes for homeless children.

It is every child’s right to receive the love, care and attention of their family, community, or even a stranger

Many children suffer after the loss of their parents. This happens especially when they end up in the hands of unfriendly relatives or neighbors who do not care for them. The children are then forced to move to the streets where they struggle a lot for survival. It is our aim to ensure these children are cared and provided for.

Let’s lay the foundation of orphan welfare by promoting their education, health, and safety!

Our main objective as KRCH is to save the next generation through provision of quality education and mentorship. We aim to provide these services for the children in the children’s home. We believe that taking care of these children is taking care of the future. They are the future and the next influencers of our generation.
